WE FOLLOWED OUR PASSION
In the world of drifting, you’re literally burning rubber. Ever since we first started drifting in 2008, we were hooked.
You can imagine how often a driver is required to change their tires.
Being drivers ourselves, we followed our passion for drifting and that was how it all started.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Akii Tire originally started as a mobile tire mounting service catering mostly towards the local track/drift scene. Participating at these events and needing tire service ourselves, we would haul tire equipment out to Shannonville Motorsports Park during drift days and offer tire mounting services to the participants. Being very common in the drift scene to run stretched tires, we gained a lot of experience in what we like to call the art of stretching tires.

When it comes to drifting, your tires matter. Luckily we’ve had years of first hand experience drifting on a wide range of tires. And with that experience, we can help you narrow down tire options suitable to your vehicle’s needs and your driving style. Whether your main focus is initial tire price point, or dollars per lap, or the maximum amount of grip, we’ll help you pick the right tire to keep you drifting at the track.
TO OUR ROOTS
Every chance we can get, find us out at the local drift events. If there’s anything we’ve gathered over the years when it comes to drifting, find the tires and parts for your car that will suit your needs and therefor maximize your amount of seat time. Spend less time swapping tires at the track and more time on the track, just by selecting the right tires.

DREAMT IT
It all began with investing in a simple piece of tire mounting equipment and offering tire stretching services to fellow car enthusiasts from a home garage. From there word of mouth spread in local car communities and the business grew.

We as fellow enthusiasts can understand the struggle to find a shop that you'd entrust to work on your vehicle. We know how many countless hours and dollars have been put into your prized possession of a vehicle. This is why here at Akii Tire we strive to give you quality of service and workmanship over anything else.
